“This application requires a version of Adobe Integrated Runtime which is no longer supported, please contact the application author for an updated version” then you need to install the current editor from our website. Here are the steps:

1. Find your editor from our website

Go to our website and find the editor you are using (such as Mini01A or 10E). 

2. Install the latest editor

Click ‘Try it’ and then the download link to install the current editor.

The new editor from our website should replace your current editor. If it does not open your current website design automatically, please manually open it. By default, your website is under the folder “My Documents – FlashPalette”.

If you have problems downloadng the .air file, please send an email to support@flashpalette.com and tell us which template you want and we will email you the .air file.

3. Re-apply the license if needed

If there is a ‘trial version’ stamp on your website preview, you need to apply the license. If you cannot find the license, please send an email to info@flashpalette.com with the following info:

First Name, Last Name, Email (you used to register at FP), Account Number (optional).

Why did you pick Flashpalette Website Design for your site?
When I started looking for a site last year, the cost most of them were over my budget. Mini01 was the perfect answer at that time. When 09A came out, it had the upgrade path to becoming an ecommerce
site and I switched to that template.

How easy was it for customizing? Very easy to customize?
One of the things I like the most is that I can update the site on my computer before I upload the changes to the live site.

A: No, you only need to update part of the website content. Here are the guide lines:

1. Always upload everything at root directory and in the   \xml directory. The \xml directory contains the website configurations and text in all text pages.

2. If you changed any image in a gallery, you have to upload the gallery directory.

3. If you changed music, you have to upload the music directory.

4. The above #2 and #3 are for our CrossPlatform edtiors (version 3.0 or later). If you are using 2.x editor, the text page background image and music are in the the \common directory.

5. You need to clear the browser cache (a.k.a. temporary internet files).

The most common reason for uploading problems is that the \xml directory is not uploaded, or the browser cached is not cleared.

A: Sure! The work around is that you only need to click the "Preview" button once, and then don’t close the window. Next time when you make changes in the editor, you only click ‘Save‘, then go to Internet Explorer and click the refresh button. You will see the updated website content. There is no ActiveX warning anymore.

Side note #1: You won’t see the ActiveX warning when your website is put online. It only happens when the content is from your local machine.

Side note #2: If you use Windows XP, and if you want to install the wonderful browser FireFox, then you won’t see this warning either.

A: You first create several price lists, and then assign a price list to each gallery that you want to sell. You also need to enter info for your PayPal email, and the text message in the invoice email.

Q: Can I sell my photo session packages?

A: Yes, check this 09E demo and see how the ‘Packages’ section works. To create that, you need to create a gallery, and each image in it represent a package. Then you override the price and description for each image.
