*The* Tina Parker line….her first design with us…

The Grand Unveiling of a truly wonderful designer, what a joy it was to work with her.  A few words from our Designer:

Tina

My name is Tina Parker.

I grew up in the small town of Holly Michigan with my parents and one brother.

I graduated from Holly in 1992 and went to school for Interior design (never did finish through though).

I am a Mother to 3 wonderful children – Ashlee, Nicole and Sean.

I’ve been happily married for almost 10 year to my wonderful husband Jerry.

I became interested in the digital world late in 2005. I started out taking photos of my children, with a Kodak point and shoot camera. I had upgraded to the Canon Rebel XT and now own a Canon 5D. I would then print the photos and scrap them with paper, then went digital and that is where it all began for me.

I was on a few different digital scrapbook design teams, and have had some of my photos published in various scrapbook magazines.

I made my first set of templates back in September of 2006. My ABC book template. I have learned a lot since then.
I now own my own template business
http://mylilcreations.blogspot.com/ and joined the FlashPalette team in December of 2007.

This has been such an exciting journey for me and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!!!

And drum roll please…………….

I cannot even begin to tell you how excited my socks are to be rocking out with Tina Parker’s new line!

I’ve enjoyed her creations for a long time and own quite a few of them. My Money bookkeeping software wanted to know if I should add Tina to my regular bills. :)

Anyway, I love her work and she’s just a generally all around great gal. Always sharing and helping other photogs. Thanks Tina and CONGRATS to you and FP for snagging you. You deserve the recognition!!!!

Oh, this is GORGEOUS! Pick me, pick me! I really want a mini that I can use for my clients, and this is just so classy and simple. Ok, and I’ll up the ante–if I win I’ll let you know who the gal in the fishnets from Orlando was!

OMG…Tina all of your designs are amazing, I have purchased 2 since last fall and am thrilled with both of them. When searching around I noticed that yours were more than equal to the others, in many cases they far surpased what I had found. For the price, there is no comparison. Keep up the great designing, I can’t wait to continue to add more!

Those colors are HOT! I may be a bit biased since I just got done redoing my website in those same colors! But after seeing this new design by Tina, I have to have it! The work I did on my site is off to the recycling bin.

Please pick me so I don’t have to spend money on it. My husband is out of town for Valentine’s and he just won’t understand why I want this as my belated Valentine’s gift. Any tips on explaining that to him???

Tina, you rock my Crocs off! I’m not wearing socks……Over the past year, I have searched and became the template queen! Tina’s are by far the best! Tina makes me cool….why you ask? I purchased her calendar templates and made my wonderful sister in law the best Christmas gift, which she LOVES! I downloaded her super cute 4×6 Valentine template and made my little sweeties valentines for their little friends in their class. That adds about 50 more people who think I am cool……talk about a boost for the self esteem. So really Tina is part designer, part life coach! Best of luck and happy designing. Tracey from cold and snowy Minnesota!

Socks? What socks?? Tina rocked my socks off the first moment I wondered upon “my lil creations”. She is an awesome designer! I love her style – she is hip, elegant, classy, and refreshing. Not only is she extremely talented but she has a huge giving heart. I’m new to this world of photography and templates – she has always taken time to help and give advice. I so appreciate her. I’m not writing this just to win the prize, Tina needs to know how awesome she is and how much we love her!!! Happy Valentines Day Tina and Flash Palette!!!

Well even if I don’t win a site, I have to tell Tina that she does ROCK!!!!!! I don’t need socks to know that! My sister sent me her link for the ABC templates forever ago and I bookmarked them and then lost them. I spent one afternoon going through 3000 emails looking for the original email and I’ve made sure not to lose her since!!!!! I love your new site and all the vintage texture you add. Your use of color, texture and design just knocks my socks off!!!!!! And yeah, my calanders from your templates FINALLY went out last weekend and they are a hit!

Tina’s creations help me sell more products every day. She knocked my slippers off… and she continues to knock the socks off of my customers who are all blown away when I give them their Card designs to send out. I get SO much business based on cards that my customers have sent out, and Tina also helps me book shoots for other holidays. Thankyou Tina for streamlining everything I do.

    In honor of Valentine’s Day:
Sing to the tune of “What The World Needs Now Is Love (sweet love)”

    ———————

What the design world needs now is Tina Parker’s work.
It’s the only thing that will give my boring website a perk.
What the design world needs now is Tina’s design.
Oh, I really need a new site I think this contest is a sign.

Lord we don’t need another Blu,
There are Winklets and others enough to choose,
There are boring sites enough to ponder
Enough to last until the end of time.

What the design world needs now is Tina Parker’s work
It’s the only thing that will give my boring website a perk
What my website needs now is Tina’s touch
If I won that would be just too much.

My name is Tina Parker. **No wait, just kidding, my name is Renee Palmer.**

I grew up in the small town of Holly Michigan with my parents and one brother. **WOW what a coincidence I also have parents and 1 brother …and another brother and another brother and another brother and 2 sisters.**

I graduated from Holly in 1992 and went to school for Interior design (never did finish through though). **Wait… this is getting weird, I also graduated from high school and graduated in 1992 uhhh wait, that would be 1990.**

I am a Mother to 3 wonderful children – Ashlee, Nicole and Sean. **Tina I feel like I’m in the twilight zone I’m also a mother of 3 wonderful children I mean 4 I always forget that last one**

I’ve been happily married for almost 10 year to my wonderful husband Jerry. **Ah Tina our first difference I’ve only been “content” in my marriage for 16yrs. (just kidding I totally” rock your socks off” in the marriage department cause I got 6 years on ya baby!)**

I became interested in the digital world late in 2005. I started out taking photos of my children, with a Kodak point and shoot camera. I had upgraded to the Canon Rebel XT and now own a Canon 5D. I would then print the photos and scrap them with paper, then went digital and that is where it all began for me. ** I don’t want to act like a know more about this than you do but man, those Walmart fujifilm disposable camera’s are where it’s at! Of course after 10yrs of collecting those cameras in the back of my closet that still have yet to be developed I have also upgraded to digital with a canon 40D**

I was on a few different digital scrapbook design teams, and have had some of my photos published in various scrapbook magazines. **This is some serious deja vu I really don’t think this is fair to the other contestants anymore I have also been on a few different digital scrapbook design teams and have had some of my photo’s published in various scrapbook magazines…no wait that would be you again.**

I made my first set of templates back in September of 2006. My ABC book template. I have learned a lot since then.
I now own my own template business http://mylilcreations.blogspot.com/ and joined the FlashPalette team in December of 2007. **Alright, I got nothing on this one**

This has been such an exciting journey for me and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!!! ** Tina, I’m so glad we’ve experienced this exciting journey “together”. I feel like I know myself even better and can’t wait to see what the future holds for “us”. You’re so right, this has been an exciting journey…**

And drum roll please…………….Don’t forget the trumpets and I really like to work with backup singers…

Tina, don’t lie to yourself, you know I “rocked your socks” and we all know the coincediens between us is uncanny.

So Tina seriously be my Valentine and “SHOW ME THE LOVE!!” I really want the website!!

The first purchase I made from Tina knocked my socks off…
Her designs are beautiful and have tons of style and pizazz!
She has always gone over and beyond to help me out!
    Her customer service is OUTSTANDING!!
What truly knocks my socks off is the second you hand over your work to your clients and they have little tears in their eyes. They are in awe of the beauty of their items they purchased!
Without you Tina, this job wouldn’t be so rewarding!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
for knocking my socks off and my clients too!
I wish you great success and can’t wait to start my website with another one of your amazing designs!!
I will ALWAYS be one of your most dedicated customers!
    Thank you:)

OMG! OMG! OMG! This is SOOOO better then all the other contests I enter. The last one started with a letter from Ed McMahn. I was convinced I had already one, afterall that is what my letter said. Sadly and surprisingly, I did not win. But this one, this one, OMG! I have to win! Tina is my idol(no I am NOT her stalker). Ok, well maybe a bit. After my last purches from here we eamiled each other back and forth saying thank you many many times. If I win this one, her and FP’s mail will be flooded!!!!!! I am about to launch a senior site and this would be PERFECT!! I am willing to offer to be your best friend… Will that get me anything! What about a custom photography session? I bet no one else here can offer that. What?…. Everyone one else is a photographer too? Hmmm. How about a slightly used husband? Wait, he isnt good for anything. Hmmmm I will think of something! I am so excited, I really really want to win this.

I no longer have socks to be knocked off…..I have paced the floor and kicked the walls so much that my socks are just threads. When I think, I pace and I have really been thinking about a website. What do I want, who should I have, what color should it be…..Tina…you have to help me. My favorite colors are green and blue….uh…you too? I am really looking forward to having a site so I can start wearing socks again. My family agrees……my feet are made for walking, that’s just what they’ll do. Tonight these feet are going to walk (with socks) all over BLU!

Tina continues to amaze me with her talent with each new design that she unveils, they only get better and better. Not only do her designs completely rock my world, Tina, herself, is the kindest, generous most wonderful person I have ever met. She is just the sweetest thing, and I cannot even begin to tell you how many times she had helped me with a picture, or card or something. I am definitely a very lucky person to have met Tina and her family. Stunning design Tina, can’t wait to see the next one.

Something to make you laugh, well there is always the story about how we tried using superglue to get the Martha Stewart animal puppets to stay together for the kids to play with. Not sure what it was about those puppets, but even the supeglue did not work on them, and thankfully neither one of us glued the camera to your hands in the process either, it is was close. Thanks for the good times and fun memories Tina.
