North Bay Portrait Design Earns E-Commerce Award
Mentor, OH -   Ladd Scavnicky, CPP, owner of North Bay Portrait Design in Mentor was awarded the Ohio CPP Visual Excellence E-Commerce Award for Best Photographer Website in Ohio.  Professional photographer’s websites were judged at the annual PPO Mid-East States Regional Convention and Competition in Dayton, Ohio.  The studio’s site is www.northbayportraitdesign.com

North Bay’s new website was launched on New Year’s Day.  Immediately, the new site was effective, booking three weddings in the first week alone. The site is a photographer-oriented Flash website ordered from FlashPalette Web Design.  Ladd formatted and created the site using a FlashPalette custom template.  “FlashPalette’s sites are very unique and user friendly”, remarks Scavnicky.  “Plus, knowing that my site template is only sold to a maximum of four others in Ohio and is area-protected, assures me that my site will be unique to the public.  There are many cookie cutter sites out there that look alike.  FlashPalette sites help my business stand out in the crowd”

The Visual Excellence E-Commerce Award is given out by the Ohio Certified Professional Photographers organization.  Ohio CPP is part of the Professional Photographers of Ohio, of Columbus, Ohio.  PPO is made up of about 700 members of whom about 90 are certified by Ohio CPP.  The CPP Commission hosts the E-Commerce Competition and judge’s photographer’s websites for originality, photographic quality, ease of use, and impact.  The E-Commerce Award was presented to Scavnicky at the Professional Photographers of Ohio Mid East Regional Conference in Dayton.
